CSE 237A – Introduction to Embedded Systems

I took CSE 237A in Fall 2008 with Prof. Tajana Rosing.

MiniProject

I won’t post exactly how I did the miniproject, but I will post some helpful notes for future students.

Topic Research

I did a research project (with written report and in-class presentation) comparing Bluetooth, ZigBee, and Wibree.

Final Project

My final project was called PXA-VJ: Live Video Effect and Controller System. It was originally designed to incorporate a Cypress PSoC board as a remote video controller. Unfortunately, the Cypress development tools are embarrassingly buggy and thwarted my efforts at every turn, so instead I had to use a second PC as the remote controller for the demo.
